Route description

From Zealand to Faaborg:
Motorway to Nyborg exit 46 to Faaborg.
Main road 8 to Faaborg. Follow the signs to the harbour and to the ferry to Lyø and Avernakø.

From Jutland to Faaborg:
Motorway to Odense exit 51 to Faaborg.
Main road 43 to Faaborg. Follow the signs to the harbour and to the ferry to Lyø and Avernakø.

Coach to the coach station in Faaborg (3 min. on foot from the harbour) from Odense and Nyborg. Timetables can be found on www.fynbus.dk or www.rejseplanen.dk.

Go on board the ferry to Lyø and Avernakø, it takes 40-60 min. to reach Lyø. If you want to bring your car, reservation is recommended (tel. +45 7253 1800 (www.oefaergen.fmk.dk)). Alternatively you can leave your car on the parking ground near the harbour in Faaborg.

On Lyø you have to follow the road straight to 7, Lyø Bygade, about 1 kilometre from the ferry.

Lyø has a marina if you want to arrive by boat.

Of course you can take your bikes with you on board the ferry.
